Moving Forward Summer Transition Program
Many students entering university for the first time find the transition challenging. We invite students with disabilities to participate in our workshops and orientation program to discover strategies for managing your workload, producing university-quality work and adjusting to student life. Get ready for first year with this summer transition program for students with disabilities.
Moving Forward: Get Started workshops will take place in July 2020. More details to come by early June.
Moving Forward Orientation will take place from August 24-26, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. More details to come by late June.
Transition Day is an opportunity to learn more about the transition to university for students with disabilities. Join us to learn about accommodations and how they are implemented, student support services available, assessment and common transition challenges students face.
Transition Day includes a webinar for high school educators and community partners who work with students with disabilities, as well as prospective students, families and supporters outside of the GTA looking to learn more about how accommodations are implemented in post-secondary education.
Transition Day also includes an event for incoming students, their families and supporters to connect with staff, upper year students and services in person.
