How The Program Works
Disclosure and Accommodation Strategies for the Workplace
- Wondering how to have conversations with employers about disclosure and accommodations?
- Not sure when would be the “right” time to disclose or request accommodations?
- Curious about how to draw from your experiences with academic accommodations when requesting accommodations for the workplace, co-ops and co-curricular work?
Often navigating disclosure and accommodations can feel intimidating or overwhelming. In this interactive themed discussion, co-facilitated by a Career Educator and the Experiential Learning Accommodations Coordinator, you and a group of your peers can ask questions and discuss strategies for navigating disclosure and accommodations. There will be a 45-minute presentation, followed by 15 minutes of discussion-based conversation.
