          If you have a concern about a student service located on the St. George Campus, your first step is to talk to the Director of the service.

          If your concern has not been resolved after taking this step, your second step should be to contact the Executive/Senior Director of the service.

Accessibility Services open houses

Open houses are an opportunity for members of the U of T community to learn more about Accessibility Services, visit the office space, gather resources and meet staff. Open houses take place at different points throughout the year and will be tailored to specific groups (e.g. students, staff, faculty and instructors).

These events may include creative activities, presentations and opportunities to meet Accessibility Services staff. Please read each event’s description for more details.

  • Staff Open House on October 12, 2023 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

    Calling all student-facing staff at U of T! You're invited to our inaugural Staff Open House to help celebrate the start of the 2023-2024 academic year. This will be an opportunity to learn more about Accessibility Services and to see our new programming space. Come pick up resources, meet Accessibility Services staff, tour our new programming space and enjoy light refreshments in great company.

    This event will feature a presentation that will cover:

    • An introduction to Accessibility Services.
    • Registration from a student's perspective.
    • How Accessibility Services works with students.
    • Referrals to Accessibility Services.
    • Working with students registered with Accessibility Services.
  • Eligibility

    Service Eligibility

    Members of the U of T community including students, staff, and faculty and instructors. Open houses will be tailored to specific groups (e.g. students, staff, faculty and instructors).

    These events will take place in the Accessibility Services central office (455 Spadina Ave, suite 400). Attendees are encouraged to come in person, but virtual options may also be available depending on the event. Our team assists in navigating disability-related barriers to your academic success at U of T for your on-going or temporary disability. We provide services and supports for learning, problem solving and inclusion.

    455 Spadina Avenue, 4th floor, Suite 400, Toronto, Ontario, M5S 2G8. We're experiencing an exceptionally high volume of emails, phone calls and voicemails at this time. Messages are triaged for urgency, however, we urge students to visit the reception desk in person, if possible. Please note email and voicemail responses may take an extended period of time. Please come into our office if you have an urgent disability-related concern.
