Accommodations renewal

Go to the Accessibility Services homepage

April 30 is an important date

Starting April 30, students currently registered with our office will receive an email from Accessibility Services outlining the process of reactivation that is available to them for the upcoming academic year 2021-2022.

Some students with current documentation regarding their disability, and where no changes in accommodations needs are anticipated by the student and/or accessibility advisor, will be able to renew their accommodations electronically through an individualized email. If this is the case, students will receive an email sent to their U of T email on how to electronically renew their accommodations.

Some students may require updated documentation or need to speak with their advisor to renew. Students will receive an email if this is the case. If updated documentation is required or if you would like to discuss possible changes to accommodations, students will need to book an appointment to speak with their accessibility advisor by calling our front desk at 416-978-8060 or emailing us at  accessibility.services@utoronto.ca.

    Booking & Documentation

If updated documentation is required, or if you would like to discuss possible changes to your accommodations, you will need to book an appointment with your accessibility advisor to renew your accommodations.

You may provide updated disability documentation by having your health practitioner complete the Certificate of Disability (PDF). Students are required to submit their disability documentation securely to Accessibility Services via the Student Document Upload Portal.

You will need your UTORid and password to log into the portal. Acceptable document formats: DOC, DOCX, PDF, PNG, JPG and TIF. Maximum document size: 35 MB.

Select your accessibility advisor in the dropdown list OR select “Unkown” if you are unsure about your assigned accessibility advisor.

If you still have questions about whether you need updated documentation or have trouble uploading the documentation, please email Accessibility Services at accessibility.services@utoronto.ca or call us at 416-978-8060.
