If you have a concern about a student service located on the St. George Campus, your first step is to talk to the Director of the service.
If your concern has not been resolved after taking this step, your second step should be to contact the Executive/Senior Director of the service.
The staff at Housing can help you find a great home. Use the StarRez portal to apply for residence, or log in to the Off-Campus Housing Finder to search for rentals and find roommates. Attend our events or meet with us in person to get help with your housing search and learn about your tenant rights.

To enhance the student experience and support students’ housing needs through education, resources and developing effective systems and processes in collaboration with our partners.
That every student has the access and support they need to find and maintain suitable and safe housing so they can learn, grow and flourish during their time at the University of Toronto and beyond.
Thank you times a hundred for helping us out during this stressful/exciting process. We just signed a lease! You were a huge help, meeting with us on an individual group basis, and by organizing the housing fair.
A few weeks ago, a fire devastated the building I was living in, and rendered me temporarily homeless and pretty stressed out. Thank you for helping me find alternate accommodations, and to navigate the various systems and processes I needed to navigate in short order. This wasn't an easy time, but it was incredibly comforting to know that there were people like yourselves working to ensure my safety and wellbeing.
I got really good guidance and answers to my questions, as well the Housing Services staff was very supportive throughout the process. They showed commitment to the issue and followed through until it resolved. I found it very helpful. One of the solutions I was given I thought I had no possibilities in applying it, however, the staff was supportive enough to let me know my rights and helped me gather the strength to go forward with it. It turned out to be the key to the solution of the problem. I have a lot of appreciation for them and was left with a very good impression.
The Housing Services staff was incredibly helpful. They took their time to help me with my subleasing situation on multiple occasions and expertly answered all of my questions. They even directed me to resources that were relevant to my housing-related queries that would have been difficult to track down myself.
I had a really good experience with Housing Services at U of T, they were able to help me find a place to stay in my time of need. Super grateful for them!
I had the pleasure of meeting and working with the Housing staff when I was going through a challenging life situation involving urgent search for new housing. The Housing Services team member I worked with is very helpful, thoughtful, responsible and supportive! Their enthusiasm, kindness and professionalism greatly helped me in my situation in general and at every stage of the search for accommodation, and I found a new temporary home quite fast. Thank you very much, Housing Services!
