This information is for prospective and incoming inbound exchange program students.
After admission to an exchange program, exchange students can log in to StarRez and apply for residence. Exchange students are issued their U of T login credentials after admission, and those credentials are required to be able to log into U of T platforms, including StarRez.
U of T St. George
Exchange students at the St. George campus are not guaranteed a space in residence, but they can apply for residence by submitting a waitlist application.
The chances of receiving a residence offer through a waitlist application are very low. However, space in some residences can become available partway through the fall term (September-December) or by the start of the winter term (January-April). If you are planning to start at U of T St. George in the winter term and would like to stay in residence, it would be prudent to submit a waitlist application.
Additional options include independent residence or living off campus.
U of T Mississauga
The Mississauga campus offers guaranteed residence for students applying for a year-long or summer exchange and a limited number of priority spaces available for one semester exchanges.

U of T Scarborough
Exchange students at UTSC are not guaranteed a space in residence, but they can submit an upper year waitlist application. Students applying for the full academic year or winter only are more likely to receive an offer. Application details and dates will be emailed.
