At the Finding a Therapist workshop, learn about:
- What therapy is and who can provide it.
- A range of supports that help us feel better and be well.
- Finding therapists who fit certain needs and preferences, especially for marginalized communities.
- Insurance coverage and how to use it.
- How to start therapy.
Facilitated by the Wellness Navigation Advisors, Heidi Zhang and Laura Krahn, MEd, RP.
The workshop takes place in person or online. You can attend the first hour to get information. If you choose to attend the second hour, you can get support to take the first steps of finding and contacting potential therapists.
For in-person workshops, please bring a laptop or other device with internet and email if you would like to fully participate in the second hour of the workshop.
