Self-compassion involves treating yourself the way you would treat a friend who is having a hard time, whether your friend is feeling inadequate or facing a tough life challenge.
Learn to be a good friend to yourself when you need it most. Building Resilience through Self-Compassion workshops are for graduate students who notice that they can often be their own “harshest critic”. You will learn theory and research that supports self-compassion as a way to motivate self-encouragement rather than self-criticism, as well as strategies to help build resilience.
