Student consultations on mental health
Oct 2021
We invite U of T St. George students to share their feedback to enhance mental health on campus.
The National Standard of Canada: Mental Health and Well-Being for Post-Secondary Students was recently released. The University of Toronto is conducting a tri-campus project to assess current mental health supports and identify areas where we, as a campus community, can grow.
These virtual consultation sessions are an opportunity for students to collaborate on this project. The main goals of the consultation process are to gain students’ perspectives on campus resources, identify areas of growth and discuss future goals in creating a supportive community. As a thank you for your time and contributions, participants will receive $10 in T-Bucks and a chance to win a $100 gift card.
Consultations will take place between October 6 and November 12, 2021. Each session is an hour long over Zoom.
Register on the CLNx for an upcoming consultation:
- Mon. Nov. 8, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. EDT
- Tue. Nov. 9, 12 – 1 p.m. EDT
- Wed. Nov. 10, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. EDT
- Thu. Nov. 11, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. EDT
- Fri. Nov. 12, 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. EDT
Student feedback provided at these consultations will be kept anonymous and will be used for future program planning to align with the National Standard of Canada: Mental Health and Well-Being for Post-Secondary Students.
By registering and attending the consultation session, you indicate that you consent to participating in this project. You may withdraw your consent at any time throughout this process. These sessions will be recorded for transcript purposes only; they will be stored securely and privately and destroyed once we have completed our analysis.
