U of T Career Fair 2023

Beyond the Fair

All staff will be wearing U of T t-shirts and can be approached at any time for questions or concerns.

Quality over quantity
After initial follow up, keep folks updated if you’re following through on something, share articles etc. relevant to your conversation, stay in touch by engaging occasionally via social media (liking posts, congratulations on career milestones).

Deepening a relationship
If there is mutual benefit to staying in touch, ask to set up another/regular meetings, being mindful of their schedule and availability. Two-way relationship (understand how you can help them).

Skills Development

Coursera: Coursera is currently offering full access to MOOC courses, including completion certification to support partner universities impacted by COVID-19. Access to this self-directed learning content is being prioritized for students at the University of Toronto while on-campus activities are suspended.
