Accessibility Services and Career Exploration & Education (CxED) are partnering up to provide career-related programming and events catered to students who self-identify as living with a disability.
Connect one-on-one with the Career Educator, Accessibility to explore career supports, review application documents, develop strategies for navigating work and accommodations, and more.
Events
- Ensure you register on CLNx! Registration will provide you with the link and instructions for accessing the online session.

- Arrive on time (or early). Events start on time and you may be denied entry after the start time.
- If you can no longer attend, please cancel your registration to allow others to participate.
- If there is additional capacity, waitlisted individuals will be notified via email prior to the start of the session.
- Only University of Toronto students and recent alumni (within the past two years) are eligible to attend.
Career Pathways Series for Neurodivergent Students
Develop career goals, learn strategies for navigating the job search process, and explore what you may want to do next after graduation. This series is for students who identify as Neurodivergent, the Career Pathways Series offers 6 in-person or virtual workshops covering the following topics:
- Knowing yourself and career exploration
- Networking and building a community of support
- Disclosure and accommodation in the job search and at the workplace
- Next actions as you work towards you career goals
Disclosure and Accommodation in the Workplace
- Wondering how to have conversations with employers about disclosure and accommodations?
- Not sure when would be the “right” time to disclose or request accommodations?
- Curious about how to draw from your experiences with academic accommodations when requesting accommodations for the workplace, co-ops, and co-curricular work?
Often navigating disclosure and accommodations can feel intimidating or overwhelming. In this interactive themed discussion, co-facilitated by a Career Educator and the Experiential Learning Accommodations Coordinator, you and a group of your peers will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss strategies for navigating disclosure and accommodations. There will be a 60-minute presentation, followed by 30 minutes of discussion-based conversation.
