As of February 5, 2024
The U of T St. George Health & Wellness Centre, Scarborough Health & Wellness Centre, Mississauga Health & Counselling Centres (referred to as the Health Centres) aim to ensure appropriate access to all available appointments. This means that we require sufficient notice for appointment cancellations to enable students to rebook these times.
Psychiatry appointments cancellations require 48 business-hour notice. All other appointments require a minimum of 24 business-hour notice.
For example, if you have a Monday morning appointment with a psychiatrist, please notify us by the Thursday morning prior. For appointments with other clinicians, please notify us by Friday morning.
To cancel a scheduled appointment, please call the Health Centre where your appointment was scheduled and leave a voicemail with your name, student number, date and time of your appointment. Late cancellations and no-shows for appointments will both result in a charge/fee as outlined under Late Cancellation and No-Show Fees.
Unpaid invoices/fees will result in a hold being placed on your ROSI/ACORN student account. This hold will not affect your course registration but may impact access to your transcripts or employers’ ability to verify graduation.
