Get help finding mental health supports
Learn about supports on and off campus and get help reaching out to them by meeting with a Wellness Navigation Advisor. Whether you have ideas about mental health resources you want or do not know what resources are right for you, wellness navigation is a good place to start.
Choose how you want to learn about resources. You can meet one-on-one to discuss your needs and explore your options together. You can also learn about community mental health resources in a workshop with fellow students.
Wellness navigation appointments
In an appointment, you’ll meet with a Wellness Navigation Advisor for 30-45 minutes to discuss your current needs and review resources together.
Resources will affirm your interests and intersectional identities. They may include peer support, social connections, healthcare, counselling, psychotherapy, art-based trauma groups, 2SLGBTQ+ community building events or other supports.
You can also get skills coaching and self-advocacy support to help you connect with service providers.
After your appointment, you will receive information about all the resources you discussed in your U of T email inbox, so you can review them at your convenience and reach out to the services you want to connect with when you’re ready.
