          If your concern has not been resolved after taking this step, your second step should be to contact the Executive/Senior Director of the service.

RECRUITMENT: Admissions advising

First Nations House Logo

Indigenous staff at First Nations House can assist you with your application to the University of Toronto as well as advocate on your behalf. With over 1000 academic programs and three campus locations at the University of Toronto, there is bound to be something of interest to you! There are a variety of programs to assist high school students get a great head start.

  • Undergraduate programs at Arts and Science, Applied Science and Engineering, Music, Kinesiology & Physical Education and Architecture, Landscape, and Design.
  • Professional programs at Dentistry, Education, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Radiation Sciences, Pharmacy and Physician Assistant.
  • Graduate programs at the School of Graduate Studies.

If you do not meet the formal qualifications required for direct entry admission to the University, you can enroll in one of the University’s access or bridging programs (PDF). These courses of study enable mature students to earn the requirements in preparation for an Arts & Science degree.

We also offer guided tours of First Nations House and the University of Toronto campuses. Have a look at the First Nations House Brochure (PDF).

    Contact our recruitment officer to talk about your options and financial support (PDF) including First Nation Band Funding, the Ontario Student Assistance Program, scholarships/bursaries and other means to finance your education.

     

We provide culturally relevant services to Indigenous students to support academic success, personal growth and leadership development. We offer learning opportunities for all students to engage with Indigenous communities at U of T and beyond.
