          If you have a concern about a student service located on the St. George Campus, your first step is to talk to the Director of the service.

          If your concern has not been resolved after taking this step, your second step should be to contact the Executive/Senior Director of the service.

Experiential Learning Commons

Discover a space where students, alumni, and employer partners can build meaningful connections through networking and mentorship, develop skills to solve societal challenges through experiential learning, and explore career interests and job opportunities through recruitment initiatives.

The Experiential Learning Commons (ELC) facilitates a hub of activity and collaboration between industry partners, researchers and scholars, and students, recent graduates and alumni from across the University of Toronto.  

This space is shared by Student Life, Career Exploration & Education; the Faculty of Arts & Science, Experiential Learning Outreach & Support; and the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering, Engineering Career Centre.

9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Jul – Aug

9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Closed on U of T holidays  

  • The building is on the southeast corner of Beverley* and College Street 
  • The main entrance is on the Beverley Street side of the building 
  • Take the elevator up to the third floor.
  • Turn right, head down the corridor and enter through the doors.
  • The reception desk is on the left.
    *Beverley Street is the continuation of St. George Street south of College Street 

  • The ground-floor entry area includes an elevator to take visitors to the third floor

These quiet, private rooms are bookable through Folio for virtual job interviews and virtual appointments with Career Educators, Career Exploration & Education.
