Check your U of T email for an invite to the Canadian Campus Wellbeing Survey (CCWS), an important survey about mental health, wellbeing and your student experience with the chance to win exciting prizes.
Approximately 30,000 undergraduate students will receive an email invitation in early February to participate in the CCWS survey. The survey will be open for the month of February. Later in April, approximately 8,000 graduate students will receive their invitation and the survey will be open until the end of April.
Your feedback will help U of T better understand your experiences and provide valuable insight for improving policies, resources, programs and services as they relate to wellbeing. The survey asks a broad range of questions about mental health, campus climate, physical health and health service utilization.
U of T first participated in CCWS in 2020, but this is the first time the survey will go to a random sample of all U of T students. From the pilot we learned a lot about student awareness of mental heath supports on and off campus, and also about who students reach out to for support with their mental health. This has supported the development of the Student Mental Health Resource and Navi, a chat-based virtual assistant. We hope this supports understanding our progress as we implement the recommendations from the Mental Health Task Force.
Students that complete CCWS will be entered to win 1 of 10 $100 gift cards for Presto, Uber Eats, Chapters/Indigo or the U of T Bookstore. For more information or any questions, please contact clarissa.lau@utoronto.ca.
