Community Partner Advisory Committee (CPAC) members are instrumental in supporting the Centre for Community Partnerships (CCP) as it fulfills its mandate. Members contribute ideas and are passionate about education and community partnerships.
Program EligibilityPeople working in the nonprofit or public sector who have worked on Community-Engaged Learning (CEL) or Community-Engaged Research (CER) with colleges or universities
How The Program Works
Members provide feedback to ensure that the CCP responds to the needs and interests of diverse community partner organizations across the GTA.
They influence community participation and University-community partnerships for mutual benefit, build capacity for Community-Engaged Learning (CEL) and Community-Engaged Research (CER) across the three campuses and beyond, contribute ideas and guidance to our initiatives, such as programs and learning events for students, faculty, and staff, and attend three or four one-hour CPAC meetings per academic year (September-April) over a two-year term (three years for co-chairs).
