Most graduate programs require that you create a personal statement or letter of intent to communicate your intentions and interests for applying to the program. This session will introduce key components to incorporate into a successful personal statement, and through reviewing samples we’ll discuss and identify a writing and editing strategy to help you effectively create your own statement.

- Not sure when would be the “right” time to disclose or request accommodations?
- Curious about how to draw from your experiences with academic accommodations when requesting accommodations for the workplace, co-ops, and co-curricular work?
Often navigating disclosure and accommodations can feel intimidating or overwhelming. In this interactive themed discussion, co-facilitated by a Career Educator and the Experiential Learning Accommodations Coordinator, you and a group of your peers will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss strategies for navigating disclosure and accommodations. There will be a 60-minute presentation, followed by 30 minutes of discussion-based conversation.
