From October 21, 2024 – March 21, 2025 (excluding December 2, 2024 – January 9, 2025), come join us in person every Monday and Thursday from 1 – 4 p.m. at 800 Bay Street (5th floor), where you can:
- Attend a one-on-one drop-in appointment with a Peer Career Advisor for:
- Career Start – Resource Referral
- Help you clarify your career question(s) and highlight specific programs, services, and resources that meet your unique need(s) and career goals! Think of the peer career advisors as your personal concierge to Career Exploration & Education.
- Résumé or Cover Letter Review
- Review your résumé and provide feedback about tailoring, formatting, highlighting your accomplishments, and other tips to strengthen your résumé.
- If you are applying to graduate-level programs or senior-level positions, please book an Application Review appointment with a Career Educator (on CLNx).
- LinkedIn Review
- Review your LinkedIn profile and provide feedback about each of the main sections (Headline, About, Experience and Education), as well as how to highlight your accomplishments and tailor your profile.
- Interview Prep
- Help you identify the core competencies of the role, and learn about common question types and how to craft the best answer. You’re encouraged to bring a job posting to the appointment to help identify the relevant competencies.
- Note that mock interview practice is not offered through these appointments. For practice interviews, please book an Interview Practice appointment with a Career Educator (on CLNx).
- Career Start – Resource Referral
- Browse our career resources, workbooks, and toolkits.
- Participate in monthly-themed group discussions space with fellow students and recent graduates, facilitated by a Career Educator.
- Or work on your job application materials in a shared space and connect with others over snacks!
