Joy at U of T
February 13 – 17, 2023
Winter in Toronto can be beautiful and bleak. Fresh and dull. Brilliantly bright and terribly slow.
If the negativity in that last statement feels more in line with how you’re feeling right now, you aren’t alone. At this time of year, we often find more to weigh us down than lift us up.
And that’s where JOY at U of T comes in.
JOY is a time to appreciate the little things – the nuggets of goodness that break through the bad days. It’s a time to focus on the people, places and things that make us smile. It’s a time to share your happiness with folks who could use a bright spot in their day.
There are lots of ways to find JOY at U of T – and we’re here to help you find it. So follow us and feel the sun start to break through the clouds. JOY’s there, we promise.
All week long, we’re spreading joy at U of T on our Student Life social media channels! Look out for daily giveaways on Instagram, Facebook Live chats with student peers on self-care and study tips to take you through reading week (and beyond), fun TikToks, wellness resources and more. You can also read the Life @ U of T Blog where students will be sharing what brings them joy.
