The University will be closed from Tuesday, December 24, 2024, to Friday, January 3, 2025, inclusive, and will re-open on Monday, January 6, 2025. Residences re-open on varying dates.
During this winter break period, some U of T residences will remain open, while others will require residents to vacate their residence building. They may also have unique operational dates that differ from the general University closure dates.
Students currently living in a residence that will close for the winter break cannot apply to stay in a different residence during the closure.
Students looking for a place to stay during the winter break period may wish to consider temporary off-campus accommodations.
