Residence is guaranteed for all upper year Indigenous undergraduate students in the Faculty of Arts & Science, provided that they indicate interest in residence by completing a residence application on the StarRez portal by May 15 and self-identify as an Indigenous Person from Turtle Island/North America.
Students must respond to all deadlines and meet all deposit requirements to maintain their eligibility.
Application process
- Login to the StarRez portal and submit a residence application by May 15. Depending on your current residence status, the StarRez portal will display all applications for which you can apply:
- Students currently living in residence can submit a returning student application.
- Upper year students not currently living in residence can submit the St George Waitlist 2025-26 application.
- Fill out the Residence guarantee for Indigenous upper year Arts & Science students form to self-identify as an Indigenous Person from Turtle Island/North America.
- Once you self-identify as an Indigenous Person, you will be asked to provide documentation that substantiates your community connection to be eligible for the residence guarantee. This is to help ensure that opportunities for Indigenous students are designated appropriately.
- A list of acceptable documents is available in the self-identification form.
