Residence application for graduate and 2nd entry professional faculty students

This information is for graduate and second-entry professional faculty students.

The residence guarantee does not apply to students with previous postsecondary experience.

It is recommended that you apply at your earliest once the applications open since on-campus space is highly limited, and space is not guaranteed. An offer of admission to the University is not required to apply for residence.

The StarRez Portal is the tool you will use to apply for residence. Applicants for 2025-26 can log in starting January 22, 2025 at 12 p.m. EST when the Graduate Residences applications open.

• U of T Mississauga: Graduate Housing

Apply through the St. George waitlist application starting March 1, 2025, at 12 p.m. for the following residences:

• Loretto College Residence (female-identifying students only): Loretto Residence (part of St. Michael’s College)
• CampusOne Student Residence

STEP 3

Log in to the StarRez Portal to complete your application(s).

STEP 4

Check the status of your application(s) in the StarRez Portal.

Graduate students may live away from the campus where they are studying. For transportation between campuses, a shuttle bus operates between U of T Mississauga and U of T St. George, and the TTC and GO Transit are options between U of T St. George and U of T Scarborough.

If you prefer more options, independent residence or living off campus might be good alternatives.
