The 10th annual President’s Retreat is upon us! This year’s theme is deconstructing leadership with a diverse program covering topics such as mental wellness, conflict resolution, setting boundaries, team collaboration, and time management. Our retreat aims to support presidents and executives of U of T-recognized clubs by fostering connections, connecting you to campus resources, and enhancing leadership skills.
We have planned an engaging two-day event featuring workshops, a keynote speaker, and various games and activities designed to set you up for success. We hope you leave feeling refreshed and ready to lead your team through a fun and fulfilling academic year!
Participants will be provided lunch and snacks on the second day, receive swag, a welcome package and earn CCR recognition. There will also be opportunities to join a group chat with fellow presidents to continue networking, creating connections and sharing resources, along with information on upcoming Clubs Essential Training sessions offered throughout the year.
Retreat details:
Day 1: August 23, Hybrid
Day 2: August 24, Crawford Lake
Workshops attended at the Presidents’ Retreat may count towards your individual Clubs Essential Training certificate on your Co-Curricular Record (CCR).

The Presidents' Retreat was a very refreshing experience. Despite being a part of my club for the past 3 years and knowing the club structure and its goals, developing my own leadership skills and thinking about my passions was brought out in the session.
Joanne
This was the most human experience I've had at U of T.
Madiha
As leader of a small club that is still getting back on its feet after going virtual during the pandemic, it was invigorating to be chat with and learn from other leaders.
