Career Journey – Keeping the Fire Lit is a 5-part series that embodies the Medicine Wheel framework. Each workshop embraces a holistic approach and focuses on enhancing career development in each area of the Medicine Wheel (Mental, Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual).
This series is for students who identify as Indigenous and offers 5 (mix of in-person and virtual) workshops covering the following topics:
- Medicine Wheel framework
- Spiritual – meaning, value and connection
- Emotional – navigating career exploration, job searching, networking and all the emotions that come with it
- Physical – resumes and cover letters
- Mental – job interviews, and job negotiation – love, kindness and honesty
