5 Ways to Wellbeing (5W2W) is a tri-campus program that teaches participants how to apply five simple, evidence-based actions in a variety of ways to promote positive mental health and wellbeing while practicing physical distancing and managing new stressors related to COVID-19. This interactive session introduces a cluster of activities that promote resilience and reduce stress.
Undergraduate and graduate students on all U of T campuses: St. George, UTM and UTSC.
How The Program Works
Sessions hosted by Health Promotion Programs are offered bi-weekly on Wednesdays during lunch hours on BB Collaborate.
Complete a pre-session worksheet and attend the 1.5-hour workshop to learn how to apply five simple, evidence-based actions in a variety of ways to promote positive mental health and wellbeing. A post-session worksheet is shared for students to have ongoing access to the resources discussed.
Faculties and departments can also request that a 5 Ways to Wellbeing (5W2W) session be organized for their students. These by-request, virtual sessions will be tailored to the audience. To organize a session for your students, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
