Being a residence don or residence assistant (RA) is a great way to build your leaderships skills and become a resource for your residence community.
Residence dons or RAs act as a resource and are responsible for community development, social/educational programming, crisis intervention, referrals, policy enforcement and the overall wellbeing of the residents.
Dons and RAs are employed from August through April for each academic year.
Opportunities for junior and senior residence donships are available at all U of T residences. The number of positions, eligibility, application processes, terms of engagement, provisions and responsibilities vary according to the specific residence.
