Tired of getting too much email?
Help us improve student communications at U of T by participating in the U of T Student Communications Study.
The study aims to gain a better understanding of current student-facing communications and student communications preferences at U of T.
The study will use:
- a survey
- focus groups
- and a student journaling exercise
to understand the volume, origin, frequency, method, content and effectiveness of in-year undergraduate and graduate student-facing communications delivered by U of T sources via mass email.
The goals of the study are to:
- Develop a baseline measurement of what mass email communications students receive from the University.
- Determine student communications preferences.
- Develop recommendations and best practices to improve the effectiveness of mass email communications.
The study is sponsored by University of Toronto Communications, the School of Graduate Studies and the Office of the Vice-Provost, Students.
