Do you have an idea to support international students studying remotely, overseas or in Toronto? Submit a proposal for an International Student Experience Award!
The Centre for International Experience will award up to $1000 for student-led projects that support the international student experience during the winter semester. Submissions are welcome from both undergraduate and graduate applicants at the St. George campus. Your project can be a one-time event or happen over a series of dates between February 1 and March 31, 2021.
Projects should speak to one of the following themes supporting international students in response to COVID-19:
- community building/support networks
- health and wellbeing
- equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility
- navigating Toronto during COVID-19
- academic support
- employability and careers
- intercultural learning
- any aspect of student life/international student experience
Students can apply individually or in groups. Please submit your application by January 21, 2021.

We will host two online International Student Experience Awards Info Sessions on January 8, 1 – 2 p.m. and January 15, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
