First in the Family Fridays
First in the Family Peer – Mentor Program holds all of our Learning (academic skills), Leadership (out of the classroom), Social (fun!), and Alumni (professional and career development) events on select Fridays 2–4 p.m., or 4–6 p.m., locations to be announced. Registered Mentees provide a gmail address and have access to a Google Calendar of all of our events planned for the year. Whether or not you are a Registered Mentee in First in the Family Peer – Mentor Program, all students must register to attend our events. Parents/guardians must also register when invited to events geared to them. We are striving to create an inclusive and accessible program. From time to time we offer light refreshments, and we do our best to make appropriate arrangements in response to accessibility and other accommodation requests.

First Step Forward
Monday, July 24, 3 – 5 p.m. (free light beverages available 2:30 – 3 p.m.), CIE, 33 St. George St. (north of College).
Students will benefit from attending: be knowledgeable about course selection, interact with your Registrar’s Office & learn more about their services, meet first-year students & upper-year Mentors, and register for FITF. (Bring a laptop / tablet / mobile device if able.)
Parents & Guardians will benefit from attending: learn more about course selection, how First in the Family supports students, and an opportunity for you to discuss other topics of interest.
