For faculty and staff
The Leadership Development Program is here to support staff in a variety of ways. Whether you're looking for training, resources or workshops for your students, we're happy to help.
Student Life Professionals, Leadership Educators Group (SLP Leadership)
The Leadership Educators group of the Student Life Professionals Network meets monthly throughout the school year to connect and share resources across the University. We invite any staff interested in leadership education to join the group. You can be added to the email list by emailing the SLP Leadership chairs, Sarah Memme and Sonja Smiljanic at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
CACUSS Leadership Educators (LECOP)
The Canadian Association of College and Universities Student Services (CACUSS) has a network that promotes a culture of leadership that helps us develop as leadership educators regardless of title, department, or focus. Most importantly, it allows us to build and to engage in a community where people know each other and benefit from their shared learning.
This online community is a platform that will support our professional development and promote knowledge transfer and generation in areas related to leadership in higher education across Canada.
Leadership Program Consulting
We are available to support the design and development of leadership initiatives across the University of Toronto. We can provide resources on program design and content for workshops, trainings and conferences. If you are interested in connecting with someone to discuss your program please email email@example.com.
Customized Leadership Training
Whether you are a member of a student organization, student life staff or a faculty member at the University of Toronto, you can request a learning experience for your group's particular needs. Tell us why you need it, when and for how many people and we’ll put it together! You can choose from a variety of topics, learning approaches, facilitation styles and activities. Read more about customized training and fill out a request form here.
We take part in ongoing collaborative events throughout the year. Establishing partnerships across the campus provides a wide range of perspectives, a sense of unity, and an overall more enriching experience for students and participants.
If you are interested in collaborating for an event, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or complete a Workshop by Request form.
