There are many services for student groups offered by Ulife and various other offices at the University of Toronto. Services include online services, finding useful space for your group, leadership training, bank letters and more.
Your club listed on Ulife
The Ulife website provides an up-to-date listing of all groups recognized by the University as well as contact information and links to your group’s website.
Web pages and other internet services
Student Life offers web server space free to recognized campus groups. Contact the Web Administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
U of T student leaders have access to space on campus to help build their groups, including office space and the Ulife service centre.

The Leadership Development team would love to hear from you about any specific leadership topic, your group or team would want tailored to your specific leadership needs.
Bank and recognition letters
Campus organizations can request a bank letter or recognition letter through our online request form. Recognized clubs or groups can use a recognition letter and a bank letter to open a new account or make changes to existing accounts. Recognition letters can be used to show the official status of your club as a University of Toronto group.

Use this form to request a bank letter and/or recognition letter for your campus group. Please read the instructions before you proceed.
Before your request is processed, Clubs and Leadership Development will check to verify the following:
- The Primary or Secondary Contact provided in this form is the Primary or Secondary Contact listed for your group on Ulife.
- The email address provided in this form is a valid, personal, @mail.utoronto email address that is listed on Ulife for the Primary or Secondary Contact.
- Your group is recognized through the current academic year.
- The Primary or Secondary Contact provided in this form has responded to the confirmation email that will be sent to them after this form has been submitted.
If any of these points do not check out, your request will be cancelled and must be resubmitted and confirmed by the proper Primary or Secondary Contact.
Requests that are confirmed by the Primary or Secondary Contact by Monday are generally processed the following Friday.
On-campus mailboxes for campus groups are available at the UTSU office. Clubs and Leadership Development does not currently provide mailboxes to campus groups.
