About the Global Ambassador Program (GAP)

The Global Ambassador Program (formerly Exchange Student Network) is for international students who are at the University of Toronto (U of T) for a short term, through the CIE international exchange and visiting program. The program connects international exchange and visiting students with a current U of T student volunteer, known as a Global Ambassador. It supports the students through their fast-paced transition to U of T and creates a community of globally-engaged students.

An invitation to the GAP program will be sent to you after you are admitted to U of T, around August for Fall/ Winter students and April for Summer students.

Global Ambassadors

The Global Ambassador is a friendly face on campus who can answer day-to-day questions as visiting students navigate the University and the city.

Ambassadors will plan social outings where all visiting students are welcome.
