Description:The Resource Centre Assistants will be responsible for supporting the services offered to recognized student groups by Campus Organizations Services within the Resource Centre at 21 Sussex Avenue. These services include the use of 6 computers, Xerox printer and additional materials for student leaders in producing materials for group events or activities. Knowledge regarding use and troubleshooting Adobe software, event flyers, answering inquires in-person, on the phone or email, as well as refilling consumable supplies of the Xerox are essential.
There are two Resource Centre Assistant positions open. One of them will lead training and troubleshooting the equipment for student leaders, student-staff, and staff in a professional manner. The second one will focus on promoting the Resource Centre to student leaders using creative partnering strategies as well as taking a lead role in planning events of the Clubhouse, like the annual Open House. The Assistants along with the Clubhouse Operations will work collaboratively on creating a mailbox system for recognized campus groups at 21 Sussex. Organizational and interpersonal skills are crucial.
This position will be working collaboratively with all positions within Campus Organization Services on delivery of services and programs housed at 21 Sussex Avenue.
Hours of work available/week: 12
