The 2012 New U Student Leadership Conference
Date: Saturday June 23 & Sunday June 24, 2012
Location: U of T's St. George Campus, 89 Chestnut Residence
Incoming leaders of Student Government and Student Unions get ready for the 2012 New U Conference at the University of Toronto St. George Campus on June 23 & 24, 2012! New U is an annual conference and this year it will be the 13th year. New U brings together elected/appointed students from student societies/unions, residence councils, and various boards and governing bodies across all three campuses.New U is coordinated by students and staff from the various campuses, colleges, and faculties throughout U of T. The conference program includes a variety of workshops, discussions, and featured speakers who will help you connect with students, organizations and staff on campus. There will also be plenty of opportunities for you to meet other student leaders, network, and establish relationships for future collaboration.

Conference Participant Fee: $75 (with a reduced rate of $50 if you attend the majority of sessions). Invoices will be sent to your student organization the week of June 25th so that conference attendees do not need to up front.
Conference Invitations: There are limited number of spaces available at the New U conference so we have sent invitations out with these numbers in mind. After our registration deadline we will notify you of any additional spaces available. If your organization would like to send additionaly delegates please contact us. If you register and can't attend, you will need to contact us 5 days prior to the start of the conference; otherwise, you will be charged the full amount.

| If arriving at 89 Chestnut for 9:00am on Saturday June 23rd presents a substantial challenge for you (e.g. you live more than a 90 minute commute away from campus and you cannot stay with a fellow group member, or you are coming to New U from out of province) please let us know your circumstances and we will work with you to try and provide accommodations on Friday evening if necessary: | |
